Arta Talachian is the founder and master craftsman behind DEEVE, bringing over 25 years of hands-on experience in fine jewelry design, goldsmithing, gemology, and appraisal. Every piece in the DEEVE collection is developed and quality-inspected under his direct oversight, and custom pieces are handcrafted in our Ontario studio.

Arta's expertise spans the full spectrum of fine jewelry — from alloy formulation and casting to stone setting, diamond grading, and IGI certificate verification. His science-based approach to materials and his commitment to transparency are the foundation of everything DEEVE creates.

As a Certified Gemologist, Arta reviews the grading behind every diamond before it enters the DEEVE collection. For our lab-grown engagement rings and diamond stud earrings, that means verifying each IGI certificate — confirming laser inscriptions and reviewing clarity plots. Lab-grown diamond eternity rings and tennis bracelets are set with IGI-graded diamonds (F–G colour, VS2–SI1 clarity), because a piece built from many small stones has no single stone for a certificate to describe.

Every DEEVE piece is crafted from solid 14K or 18K gold — never plated, never filled. Our diamond jewelry features both lab-grown and natural diamonds. Our lab-grown diamonds are IGI-certified across our engagement rings and diamond stud earrings — chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds, ethically sourced, and graded to the same standards.

Are DEEVE's lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. DEEVE's lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds — same carbon crystal structure, same Mohs 10 hardness, same optical performance. Across our lab-grown engagement rings and diamond stud earrings, every lab-grown diamond is IGI-certified with full 4Cs grading. Lab-grown diamond eternity rings and tennis bracelets are set with IGI-graded diamonds (F–G colour, VS2–SI1 clarity) — these pieces are many small stones rather than one large one, and are supplied without an individual certificate.
Are DEEVE's diamonds certified?

Does DEEVE use solid gold or gold plated jewelry?
DEEVE uses only solid 14K and 18K gold — never plated, never filled. Solid gold means the gold alloy runs throughout the entire piece, ensuring it can be polished, repaired, and worn for generations.
What warranty does DEEVE offer?
DEEVE offers a lifetime warranty on all jewelry, covering manufacturing defects, prong retipping, stone resetting, clasp repair, rhodium re-plating for white gold, and professional cleaning. For warranty repairs, you ship the piece to us and we ship it back to you, both legs insured. Most repairs are completed within 2–3 weeks.
Does DEEVE ship to the United States?
Yes. DEEVE ships across Canada and the United States with free shipping on all orders. Returns are also free within both countries.
Can I order a larger tennis bracelet or a higher diamond grade than what's in stock?
Yes. Beyond our stocked pieces, we make larger and heavier tennis bracelets and diamond earrings to order, and we can source higher colour and clarity grades on request. Special orders typically ship in two to six weeks, depending on design — email support@deeve.ca to get started.
