House of Deeve carries a legacy that began in 1860 in the heart of Tehran's historic Jewelers Grand Bazaar. My great-great-grandfather founded Talachian, A name that became synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship in Persian fine jewelry. For four generations, my family operated from a two-story atelier in the main entrance of the Grand Bazaar—a studio where artistry and tradition were passed down through careful mentorship and unwavering dedication to quality.
I am a fifth-generation jeweler. I grew up in my grandfather's studio, playing among precious metals and gemstones before I could read. By 1982, I was apprenticing in goldsmithing, learning techniques refined over more than a century. When my father opened our luxury gallery in Tehran's upscale shopping district in the 1980s, we expanded into high-end artistic jewelry and sculptural one-of-a-kind pieces. I took over the family business in 2007, focusing on the artistic and sculptural aspects of fine jewelry design. After 25+ years of experience as a professional sculptor and master jeweler, I brought our family's heritage to Canada, where I studied jewelry art and gemology at George Brown College in Toronto to blend traditional Persian techniques with modern North American standards.

The Meaning Behind "Deeve"
In ancient Persian mythology and Ferdowsi's epic Shahnameh, the "House of Deeve" refers to a legendary place in the Damavand Mountains—home of the White Deeve. Growing up, I would see Mount Damavand on my way to school, its majestic white peak rising above everything else. That image stayed with me: beauty that is both simple and powerful, elegant yet enduring. This is my obsession with the name Deeve it represents the combination of simplicity and strength, timeless beauty that commands respect. It's the philosophy behind every piece we create. House of Deeve was officially registered on October 29, 2024, marking the beginning of a new chapter in our family's 165-year journey.

Our Founder: A Fifth-Generation Master Jeweler
I am a professional sculptor and master jeweler with over 25 years of hands-on experience in fine jewelry design and fabrication. My training began in childhood in my grandfather's Tehran studio and continued through formal education at George Brown College, where I studied jewelry art and gemology.
I hold specialized trade licenses and certifications, and I personally oversee design, quality control, and custom fabrication at House of Deeve. While our family's original Talachian business continues to operate as a manufacturer and wholesaler (closed to the public since 2017), House of Deeve represents my vision: bringing generational craftsmanship directly to customers who value quality, transparency, and lasting value.
