Both are diamond. The difference is where the carbon crystallised, and what that changes is grading, cost, and the carat weight within reach at a given budget.

Neither is the better stone. Lab-grown suits a larger carat weight within a set budget, and arrives independently graded — with an individual IGI certificate on single-stone pieces and an AGI certificate with every tennis bracelet and eternity band. Yes. Every lab-grown diamond in DEEVE's engagement rings is IGI certified with full 4Cs grading — cut, color, clarity, and carat weight — and cut to Excellent. Natural diamond options are conflict-free and responsibly sourced.

Can I choose between a lab-grown and a natural diamond?

Yes — DEEVE offers both. Lab-grown and natural diamonds are chemically and optically identical; lab-grown stones cost approximately 70% less than equivalent natural stones, which typically means a larger or higher-grade centre stone for the same budget. Natural diamonds carry geological rarity for those who value provenance.

What metal are DEEVE engagement rings made of?

DEEVE engagement rings are crafted in solid 14K gold — the karat recommended for rings worn daily, with better prong security and slower wear than softer, higher-karat alloys. Never gold-plated, filled, or vermeil.

How do I find the right engagement ring size?

The most reliable method is measuring a ring the wearer already uses, with DEEVE's Jewelry Size Chart Guide for conversion. If you're proposing and unsure, choose the closest estimate — one resize is included free, with the piece shipped to us at your cost and returned to you, insured, at ours.

Can an engagement ring be resized after the proposal?

Yes. One resize is included free, performed by our in-house Ontario studio — you ship the piece to us at your cost, and we ship it back to you, insured, at no charge. Most resizes are completed within 1–3 weeks.

How quickly can an engagement ring ship?

In-stock engagement rings ship free via UPS express — arriving in 5–7 business days across Canada and the US, fully insured with tracking. Special orders and custom sizing typically ship in two to six weeks, depending on design.
