In Brief

A gold cross is worn close, often for years, so the shape and the gold matter. DEEVE's crosses are solid 14K gold in yellow, white and two-tone, from a slim tapered cross of about 1.1 g to a diamond-cut cross of about 2.3 g, with a two-tone crucifix among them. Four are sold as pendants, ready for a chain of your choice, and the puffed mini cross arrives on an 18-inch cable chain. Free worldwide shipping, with delivery in 5–7 business days.

The Guide

How to Choose a Gold Cross Necklace

Decide first how it will be worn. Under a collar, a slim or small cross stays discreet; over a shirt, a larger beveled or diamond-cut cross reads from a distance. Then choose the gold: yellow is the traditional tone, white suits silver-toned jewelry, and two-tone works with either. If the cross is a pendant only, choose the chain last, matched to its size.

FAQ

Browse the full FAQ hub
Do DEEVE cross pendants come with a chain?

Four are sold as pendants only: the slim tapered, polished beveled and diamond-cut crosses and the crucifix. The puffed mini cross comes on an 18-inch cable chain with a lobster clasp.

Are DEEVE crosses solid gold?

Yes, solid 14K gold in yellow, white or two-tone. White gold carries a rhodium finish, and renewing it is covered by the lifetime warranty at no charge.

Is the diamond-cut cross set with diamonds?

No. Diamond-cut means the gold is faceted with a cutting tool, so the small flat cuts catch light the way a stone would. There are no stones on it.

What is the difference between a cross and a crucifix?

A crucifix carries the figure of Christ on the cross, and a plain cross does not. DEEVE's crucifix sets a white gold figure on an open yellow gold frame.

About this collection

A gold cross is worn close, often for years, so the shape and the gold matter. DEEVE's crosses are solid 14K gold in yellow, white and two-tone, from a slim tapered cross of about 1.1 g to a diamond-cut cross of about 2.3 g, with a two-tone crucifix among them. Four are sold as pendants, ready for a chain of your choice, and the puffed mini cross arrives on an 18-inch cable chain. Free worldwide shipping, with delivery in 5–7 business days.

The Crosses

The slim tapered cross in 14K white gold has arms that narrow gently toward their ends. The polished beveled cross in yellow gold slopes down from a raised center ridge and stands 36.60 mm tall. The diamond-cut cross is faceted with a cutting tool rather than set with stones: a white gold cross inside a textured yellow border. The crucifix sets a white gold figure on an open yellow gold frame, and the puffed mini cross is rounded and full, already on its chain.

Choosing a Chain

A pendant sold on its own lets you choose the length and the link. A fine cable chain keeps a small cross delicate, while a rope, curb or Franco chain gives a larger cross a bolder frame. Eighteen inches sits just below the collarbone, and a longer chain lets a larger cross rest lower on the chest. Our gold chains collection has solid 14K chains in each of these styles.
