In short

Every bespoke DEEVE order begins with a consultation — by phone or video, or in person at our Toronto head office by appointment — and ends with a piece handcrafted in our Ontario studio in solid 14K or 18K gold with IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds. Total timeline is 2–6 weeks; a 50% deposit is due at design approval.

Every bespoke DEEVE piece begins with a personal consultation — by phone or video, or in person at our Toronto head office by appointment — and ends with a handcrafted piece in solid 14K or 18K gold with IGI certified lab-grown diamonds, made in our Ontario studio. Timeline at a Glance

Phase 1 — consultation, design brief, diamond selection. Phase 2 — design development, CAD, revisions, approval. Phase 3 — fabrication, stone setting, QC, delivery. Total: 2–6 weeks from first consultation to delivery, depending on design complexity and approvals. Rush timelines available for an additional fee — confirm availability at booking.

Step-by-Step Order Process

Step 1 — Initial Consultation

We meet by video or phone — or in person at our Toronto head office, by appointment. We'll discuss design direction, material options, and diamond parameters. What to bring: inspiration images (Pinterest, screenshots, clippings), existing jewelry to incorporate or redesign, ring size if known (we can measure at an in-person appointment), budget range, and an important date if applicable.

Step 2 — Design Development & Diamond Selection

We present 2–3 design concepts based on your brief. You'll review IGI certified lab-grown diamonds in person or via detailed certificate data — selecting cut, carat, colour, and clarity — and we refine the design through collaborative revision. Deliverables: concept sketches, CAD rendering and 3D model, diamond shortlist with IGI certificates, detailed material quote.

Step 3 — Design Approval & Deposit

Once you approve the final CAD rendering and quote, we issue a formal order confirmation. A 50% deposit begins fabrication. The confirmation includes the final design rendering, itemized quote (materials + labour + design), production timeline, and deposit invoice.

Step 4 — Fabrication

Your piece is handcrafted in our Ontario studio in solid 14K or 18K gold (never plated) with your selected IGI certified lab-grown diamond, with progress updates at key milestones. Stages: metal casting or fabrication, shaping and forming, stone setting by a certified jeweler, polishing and finishing, engraving if applicable.

Step 5 — Quality Inspection

Every bespoke piece undergoes a rigorous multi-point inspection before delivery: prong tightness and alignment, stone security, surface finish, clasp or closure function, and weight and dimension verification against the approved design.

Step 6 — Delivery & Documentation

The remaining 50% balance is due before shipping or pickup — pickup at our Toronto head office by appointment, or fully insured shipping across Canada. Included: IGI certificate for your diamond, DEEVE packaging, lifetime warranty documentation, care instructions, and an order record for insurance purposes.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do I start a bespoke order?
Email support@deeve.ca or call 855-633-4131 to book your consultation. All consultations are by appointment only — by phone or video, or in person at our Toronto head office.
What is the deposit and when is it due?
A 50% deposit is due upon design approval — after you’ve reviewed and approved the final CAD rendering and itemized quote. The remaining 50% is due upon completion before delivery.
How long does a bespoke order take?
Most bespoke orders take 2–6 weeks from first consultation to delivery, depending on design complexity and approvals. Rush timelines may be available — confirm at booking.
What gold options are available for bespoke orders?
Solid 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white (rhodium finished), or rose gold. Never plated, filled, or vermeil.
What diamond specifications are available?
Lab-grown diamonds in all major cuts, 0.25ct to 10ct+ — colour D–J, clarity IF–SI1. Certification is recorded per piece: where an individual IGI certificate is issued, that piece’s product page says so. Tennis bracelets and eternity bands, set with many smaller stones, are IGI graded without one. We recommend VS2 or better for eye-clean appearance.
Can I use my own diamond or existing jewelry?
Not at this time. DEEVE works only with diamonds we source ourselves, so we are not able to set a stone you supply. That is our position at this time rather than a permanent one. We would be glad to build your design around a stone we source to your specification — cut, colour, clarity and carat to your brief.
Do bespoke pieces come with a warranty?
Yes. All bespoke pieces are covered by DEEVE’s lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects, setting integrity, and craftsmanship.
Can I make changes after design approval?
Minor changes may be possible before fabrication begins. Once fabrication starts, changes are limited. We work through multiple revisions before approval specifically to avoid this — take your time reviewing the CAD before signing off.
