The prongs on this band are curves rather than posts. Instead of four upright tips per stone, a wave of gold arches over the row and comes down between the diamonds, so the highest point of metal sits at the girdle of each stone and nothing stands above its table.

That profile earns its keep on a ring worn beside another one. Nothing projects to catch a cuff or a sweater, and there is no upright tip standing where a neighboring shank can knock it out of line. It also leaves a scalloped edge running down both sides of the band, which is the detail you see from above, and the reason this reads as a designed row instead of a strip of stones.

At 2.90mm the band is narrow enough to sit flush against an engagement ring without adding much to the width already on the finger, and the 2 cttw it carries is spread rather than concentrated. This is the version bought to be lived in.

Because the diamonds continue the whole way around, the ring is made to size rather than resized later — so confirm your size before ordering, and note that wider bands wear snug.
