A Byzantine chain is built in three dimensions. Small round links are folded back through one another in groups, so the bracelet becomes a textured, rope-like column rather than a flat line. At 7.20mm in 14K yellow gold it makes a bold, textured statement.
There are two lengths: 7.25 inches at about 6.8 g and 8 inches at about 7.5 g. The open, folded pattern spreads the gold across a wide surface, so the bracelet looks fuller than its weight suggests.
