Franco is a dense chain: V-shaped links are woven four ways around each other, so the bracelet is round in section and stiff enough to hold its line. This one is 3.10mm across, solid 14K yellow gold, with diamond-cut facets on the outer surface that keep the weave bright.

For a bracelet of this width it is heavy, about 9.8 g at 7.5 inches. That density is what makes a Franco feel substantial in the hand.

Run a finger along it and you feel the weave: rounded, firm and even, with no flat side to turn the wrong way. The four-way construction also means there is no front or back to the chain.
