A snake chain is made of closely fitted rings that form a smooth, flexible tube, so it reads less like a chain than a single fine line of gold. This one is oval in section and 2.60mm wide in 14K yellow gold, with a smooth, rounded surface that lies softly along the collarbone.
Three lengths are offered: 4.9 g at 16 inches, 5.3 g at 18 and 5.8 g at 20. It is light enough to wear all day, and its flexible build lets it follow the neck rather than stand away from it.
