A radiant-cut 1 carat lab-grown diamond engagement ring, four-prong solitaire, in solid 14K white or yellow gold. The stone is G (near-colorless) with VS1 (very slightly included) clarity and Excellent polish and symmetry, and is IGI certified.
The radiant joins the cropped-corner outline of an emerald cut with the brilliant faceting of a round, so it has a clean rectangular shape and lively, crushed-ice sparkle. The trimmed corners also make it sturdier than a sharp-cornered stone, which helps on a ring worn every day.
Its origin is a lab, not a mine: the stone was grown by CVD, then graded by the International Gemological Institute, and that IGI report is tucked into the box. Choosing lab-grown saves approximately 70% against a natural diamond of the same size and grade.
