Polished C hoop huggie earrings in solid 14K yellow gold, 16.00 mm long and 10.40 mm wide, about 3.4 grams, on push backs. A C-hoop is a circle left deliberately unfinished. Two terminals face each other across an open gap, and that gap is the design. It gives the shape a direction and lets the earring sit against the lobe as a curve of gold rather than as a closed ring. The gap has a second use that nobody advertises: it makes the earring easy to orient by feel, because your fingers find the two terminals before your eyes find anything.

The proportions are 16.00mm tall to 10.40mm wide, so the C is stretched vertically and follows the lobe's own line downward.
