What F-G and VS2-SI1 Actually Mean
Color: F–G The diamond color scale runs from D (perfectly colorless) to Z (visibly yellow). F and G sit at the top of the near-colorless range, indistinguishable from D or E to the naked eye, and significantly more accessible in price. In a tennis bracelet setting, the difference between D and G is invisible without magnification.
Clarity: VS2–SI1 The clarity scale runs from FL (Flawless) to I3 (visibly included).
