A 1.70 cttw seven-stone diamond engagement ring in solid 14K white gold, its natural diamonds led by a 0.50 ct center stone, I (near-colorless) in color and SI2 (slightly included) in clarity. Two stones can share one prong between them. That halves the metal standing in a row and lets neighbors sit close enough to nearly touch, which is the only way to fit side diamonds of this size along the front of a band without the row turning into a fence of gold.

The numbers here are unusual. Six round side diamonds weigh 1.20 carats between them, more than twice the 0.50 carat center. These are not accents. They are stones in their own right, running along the front of a 3.6mm band in an unbroken line, with the center raised just enough to hold the eye in the middle.
