Bead hoop earrings in 14K yellow gold, 25.20 mm across and about 2.1 g. Instead of a smooth tube, the hoop is a single row of round polished beads set bead to bead, so the outline reads as a string of small gold spheres.

Each hoop measures 25.20 mm by 25.20 mm, a medium size that sits just below the lobe and frames the jaw without reaching for it. At an approximate weight of 2.1 g it stays light enough for a full day.

How a snap lock hoop closes

A snap lock is built into the hoop itself. A hinged post swings across, passes through the piercing and clicks into a catch on the other side, which turns the hoop into one closed circle that cannot slide out. To take it off, ease the post out of the catch and swing it open. No click means the post is not seated yet.
