A triple wrap tubogas bangle in solid 14K yellow gold, about 36 grams, that slips on with no clasp. Tubogas is a coiled gold band: a flat strip wound tightly around itself so that it forms a flexible, ridged tube. In this bangle several of those coils are wrapped together and cross over one another, so the bracelet rolls and shifts as you move. It is solid 14K yellow gold, never plated or filled.

At about 36 grams it carries a great deal of gold, and the weight is easy to feel. The coiled construction spreads that gold around the wrist in a supple way, so the piece reads as generous and full while still bending with the arm.

There is no clasp. The coils have enough give to stretch over the hand and close back around the wrist, so it goes on in one movement. The ridges catch light all the way around, which is why a single wrap like this can carry a whole arm on its own.
