A 5.4mm medium stretch mesh bracelet in solid 14K yellow gold, about 3 grams, with no clasp. Polish a mesh and you do not get a mirror. A mirror needs a flat continuous surface, and what is here instead is a dense field of small curved wires, each returning its own highlight in its own direction. The sum is a fine granular sheen that never flares and never goes fully dark, closer to satin than to shine, even though every strand in it has been polished.

That surface is why mesh reads as cloth. Gold is heavy and hard, and most gold jewelry announces both facts; a woven band quietly contradicts them, folding where the wrist folds and settling rather than sitting. At 5.4mm and 3 grams this is the width where the effect is most useful. It is narrow enough to wear beside a watch or under a shirt cuff, and wide enough to still register as a band of gold rather than as a chain.

How to Choose from Our Best Sellers
