A small huggie with a hidden detail. From the front this hoop shows a smooth, polished band, but the inner edge carries a fine diamond-cut texture that glints when the earring turns, a little flash of sparkle that only shows up close.

It measures 10.00 mm across and 3.00 mm wide, with an approximate weight of 0.9 g. At this size the hoop sits tight against the lobe, which makes it a natural choice for a second or third piercing, or for anyone who wants an earring they never have to think about.

How a snap lock hoop closes

A snap lock is built into the hoop itself. A hinged post swings across, passes through the piercing and clicks into a catch on the other side, which turns the hoop into one closed circle that cannot slide out. To take it off, ease the post out of the catch and swing it open. No click means the post is not seated yet.
