The C is a single open curve, the simplest of the round letters, and in block form it looks like a crescent with squared ends. On this necklace it is polished 14K yellow gold, with nothing to break the sweep of the line.

The letter weighs about 1.7 g and comes on an 18-inch chain. That length lets the open curve rest flat against the skin a little below the collarbone.
